MLB is a cryptocurrency, a virtual currency designed to act as money and a form of payment outside the control of any one person, group, or entity, and thus removing the need for third-party involvement in financial transactions. It is rewarded to blockchain miners for the work done to verify transactions and can be purchased on several exchanges.

To buy MLB, you’ll need a crypto exchange where buyers and sellers meet to exchange dollars for coins.

1.On the app homepage, click the 'Buy' button.
2.You'll now see a screen where you can select which provider you'd like to use. See below for an overview of how your region affects availability, and the kinds of payment options each provider supports.
3.When you've selected a provider, you'll be redirected to their platform, although you'll stay within the MetaMask app. Enter the amount of fiat currency you'd like to spend to generate an estimate of how much crypto you'll receive and the fees you'll have to pay.

4.It's at this stage that you can change the type of token you're buying. Tap the currently selected token (e.g. ETH is selected by default when on Ethereum mainnet) to bring up a list of alternatives. The network you're buying for will also be displayed alongside the token.

5.Follow the prompts to complete the transaction.

MLB represents the decentralized digital currency that is able to be sent from one user to another on the P2P network (peer-to-peer) without any need for any kind of the third party between them. All the transactions are being recorded in the blockchain, which is a public distributed ledger, and verified by network nodes.
